Privacy Policy — Effective July 30, 2026
Restframe is a sleep and schedule planning app built for shift workers. This page explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.
The short version: Restframe works entirely on your device. There's no account, no sign-up, and no server that your schedule, sleep logs, or settings get sent to. The only outside party involved at all is Google Play, when you make an in-app purchase — and Restframe never sees your payment details.
Restframe does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app. We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information. We do not run analytics or tracking of any kind, and we do not use advertising.
To do its job, Restframe stores the following data locally on your phone, using standard Android app storage:
None of this data is transmitted anywhere. It stays on your device unless you choose to back it up yourself (see below), and it's removed automatically if you uninstall the app.
Restframe asks for a small number of Android permissions, each tied to a specific feature you choose to use:
You can decline or later revoke any of these permissions in your device settings; the app will simply not offer the related feature.
Restframe includes an optional backup feature that lets you export your data as a block of text (JSON) using your device's normal share options — for example, to save it in a notes app or send it to yourself. This is entirely your choice and under your control; Restframe itself does not store or receive a copy of anything you export.
Restframe offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock additional features. All payment is handled directly by Google Play using your existing Google Play account and payment method. Restframe never receives or stores your card details or other payment information — Google's own privacy policy governs that part of the process.
Restframe does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only outside service involved is Google Play, solely for processing optional in-app purchases as described above.
Restframe is intended for adult shift workers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and since the app collects no personal information from anyone regardless of age, this is not a practical concern in normal use.
Because everything lives on your device, you're always in control: you can edit or delete any shift, sleep log, or setting directly in the app, export a backup whenever you like, or remove all data at once by uninstalling the app.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future update adds a new feature that touches data differently — we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
